Holy Moly! This sweet baby boy is seven months old already! Here's an update on all things James!
Size
When we went to the doctor not quite a month ago James weighed 16 lbs 2 oz (20%), was 28 inches long (90%), and his head was 16.75 inches around (20%). So he's still tall and skinny with a little head just like his daddy. Although he went up in his weigh percentile so that's exciting! James is pretty much out of 0-3 month clothes and even some 3-6 months. He's getting so big!! Time for mommy to dig out his big boy clothes that she thought he would never fit into! He mostly wears 6-9 month clothes for now but some of those are getting tight as well.
Sleeping
Still a nightmare trying to get him to sleep. He does pretty good going down for the night at first. He'll cry for 25 minutes tops if he even cries at all. But I tried letting him cry it out during the night for a couple weeks and it didn't get any better, in fact it just got worse and worse. So I've stopped doing that and just nurse him. And sometimes he decides that he just wants to party in the middle of the night so he just plays while I lay on the couch and keep one eye on him. And nap times are just whatever he feels like. Sometimes it's 2 hours, sometimes it's 5 minutes. On average his naps are 30-40 minutes though. And he doesn't like to nap in his crib very often so he mostly sleeps on the couch. This means Mommy and Grandma don't get a lot done during nap time.
Eating
James is a champion eater!! He LOVES food!!! He eats cereal, a thing of veggies, and a thing of fruit every lunch and dinner. I can't get the food to him fast enough! He also loves drinking from his sippy cup. He is still breastfeeding as well and when mommy is gone he gets a bottle. We have yet to find a food that he just plain refuses to eat. I'm so glad two picky eaters have made a champion eater! At least so far...

James has started crawling! He's pretty good at it! And he walks around in his walker.
I love this sweet baby of mine! He is the happiest and sweetest and craziest baby ever! I'm so glad I get to be his mommy!!
